About the Role (Job Summary)

As an Operations Supervisor on our Night Shift team, you'll help keep our distribution center's shipping department running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You'll lead a team of warehouse associates, support daily operational planning, and foster a positive, high?performance environment. Your leadership helps ensure that life?saving medications reach patients who depend on them every day.

Schedule: SundayThursday, 6:00 PM2:30 AM. Hours will rotate after initial onboarding.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Support the Operations Manager in planning, organizing, and directing night shift warehouse activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop associates and lead staff to ensure high morale, work quality, and performance standards.
• Train team members and manage performance through consistent feedback and accountability.
• Identify root?cause issues and implement effective solutions to maintain efficient workflow.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations and safety policies.
• Assist with managing operational expenses, overtime, and employee turnover.
• Maintain high standards of equipment functionality, warehouse organization, and housekeeping.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and an inclusive culture across the shift.

Basic Requirements (Career Framework Minimum Education & Typical Experience)

• Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities
• Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Typically requires 3+ years of operational experience, including 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience within warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments.

Critical Skills / Experience

• Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and developing frontline staff.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast?paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and make sound operational decisions.
• Proven ability to drive employee engagement and foster a positive team culture.
• Flexibility to work SundayThursday night shift, with a typical start time of 5 PM, and adjust hours or work overtime based on business needs.

Preferred Skills / Experience

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
• Skills in interviewing, coaching, performance documentation, and employee relations.
• Experience working with DEA-regulated inventory (a plus).
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ability to interpret and analyze operational data; MS Access experience a plus.

Description of Travel or In?Office and Physical Requirements

• This is a fully on?site role in a high?energy distribution center environment.
• May require working various shifts, including nights and occasionally days, based on business needs.
• Some overtime may be required.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations, such as standing, walking, lifting, and operating material handling equipment as needed.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$66,000 - $110,000
