Program Manager

The Program Manager leads and manages teams involved in data processing and information management. This includes personnel engaged in the analysis, design, integration, testing, documentation, and implementation of automated information and/or telecommunications systems.

The role requires day-to-day oversight of comprehensive contract support operations across multiple locations. The Program Manager organizes, directs, and coordinates all planning and production aspects of contract support activities. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to establish and adjust corporate management structures to meet evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage multiple projects and diverse personnel.
• Coordinate cross-location project operations and align them with organizational goals.
• Establish management frameworks and reporting procedures.
• Guide the implementation of IT and telecommunications projects.
• Provide leadership and structure to project support and acquisition documentation activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Project or Program Management Certification
• Defense Acquisition University (DAU)
• The Program Management Institute (PMI)
• Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
• Accredited universities and colleges
• Substitutions such as training, degrees, or equivalent documentation
• Project Management Professional (PMP), or
• Other equivalent certifications from accredited institutions

• Experience Requirements
• The Information Technology Acquisition process
• Reviewing, evaluating, and contributing to acquisition documentation
• Supporting development of acquisition strategies
• At least 5 years of experience in program management
• At least 10 years of leadership experience in the public and/or private sector in IT or consulting environments
• Demonstrated experience with:

• Bachelor's degree required

Clearance

• Must possess an Secret IT-II level security clearance or have an active National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
