About the Position

Job Title: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Profession: Sleep Tech Specialty: Sleep Study Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Sleep Disorders field, with pediatric experience required License: ND Respiratory Care License and Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Must have pediatric experience. Must have a North Dakota license. Description: Performs sleep studies and administers treatments on patients with sleep disorders. Utilizes CPAP, O2, and Bilevel as part of treatment. Uses Natus Xltek sleep testing equipment and Resmed Pap machines. Experience with EPIC One Chart EMR is required. A minimum of two years of related work experience in the Sleep Disorders field is preferred. The position accommodates 4 sleep beds with a tech to patient ratio of 1 technologist per 2 patients. Dress code includes gray scrubs. Cancellation policy allows for cancellation up to 12 hours every 13 weeks. The role includes general job duties related to performing and managing sleep studies effectively. The orientation program will cover workflows, hospital layout, policies, procedures, and testing procedures. Technologist will work alongside another sleep technologist for initial training before working independently.
