Janitor Regular Full Time Manual Labor Bowling Green, OH, US Today Requisition ID: 1799 Salary Range: $17.50 To $20.00 Hourly Summary Keep the building and grounds in clean and orderly condition by performing daily duties, including removal of trash, machine turnings, and facility waste. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Care of all company property. Service, clean, and supply restrooms, breakrooms, outdoor break areas and offices as required. Gather and empty trash. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Oversee the storage and maintenance of the custodial inventory and equipment. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Label containers properly. Miscellaneous duties; pressure washes trash cans, paints aisle lines, paints shop entry including restrooms, offices, and around front computer area, clears snow and salt front sidewalk and between buildings. Assume responsibility, with the maintenance leadership, for the completion of other special work and duties related to the maintenance of company facilities. Assume responsibility for tasks as assigned by leadership. Run maintenance equipment including, but not limited to: forklift, walk behind scrubber, large sweeper, gas powered scrubber, or lawn mower. Is a productive member of his/her workgroup and adheres to all Rosenboom policies, including safety requirements/procedures and maintaining a clean organized work area, to ensure a safe working environment for all Rosenboom employees. May be asked to assist maintenance techs. Other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED, preferred. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, or twist and move throughout the facility. The employee is required to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The duties of this job require lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. The duties of this job require ascending and descending ladders and steps.
