The People & Culture Coordinator will have the opportunity to contribute directly to our culture, employee engagement, communication, onboarding, development, and the programs that support our team. This is an entry level HR position with room to grow.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate the complete new-hire onboarding process , including required documentation, system setup, communication, and preparation for an employee's first day. 
• Coordinate and facilitate new-hire orientation , helping new employees understand DeBordieu's culture, expectations, policies, benefits, and commitment to exceptional hospitality. 
• Create and distribute our weekly employee newsletter and other employee communications. 
• Assist with the coordination of content and information for the Club's member newsletter . 
• Coordinate the Club's participation in job fairs, college recruiting events, and community recruiting initiatives . 
• Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition activities, special events, and programs that help make DeBordieu a great place to work. 
• Assist with planning and coordinating our annual Employee Wellness Fair and other wellness initiatives. 
• Assist with HR, payroll, benefits, workers' compensation, 401(k), and other internal or external audits . 
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation. 
• Assist with benefits administration and employee benefit questions. 
• Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, applicant communication, interview coordination, and pre-employment processes. 
• Assist with training and development initiatives, employee meetings, and other People & Culture programs. 
• Provide general HR support to employees and managers while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service. 
• Assist the Director of People & Culture with HR projects, compliance initiatives, reporting, employee relations, and other departmental responsibilities as needed. 

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in an HR support role or administrative position is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues.
