L&D Manager - San Francisco Bay Area, CA
We are seeking an engaged and visible L&D Manager for a hospital in the San Francisco Bay area. This permanent leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee the Labor and Delivery units with support from Assistant Nurse Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the L&D department.
- Support and mentor the Assistant Nurse Managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Champion quality improvement, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance across all perioperative areas.
- Lead department planning, budgeting, staffing, and development to support organizational goals and community needs.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Registered Nurse with an active CA RN license.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Masters degree preferred
- Experience with 400+ deliveries per month
- Minimum of 3-5 years of staff L&D experience and 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of unions and regulatory requirements.
- Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams, building strong provider relationships, and driving measurable outcomes.
