Real Estate Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid to senior level associate to join its Real Estate Finance group in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and excellent research, writing, and communication skills, with over three years of experience in real estate finance. Duties Originate loans for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions. Draft primary loan documents and manage transactions from inception to post-closing. Engage in asset management and workout activities. Handle secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies. Requirements 3+ years of broad real estate finance experience. Experience with mezzanine loans and preferred equity. Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively. Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active bar admission. Skills Strong research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Benefits Medical insurance.
