Senior Associate - Bankruptcy ($180k) Dallas

This role focuses on distressed transactions and complex financial restructurings , particularly within the framework of commercial Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. Responsibilities Provide strategic legal counsel to clients involved in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, including corporate debtors, lenders, and creditors’ committees. Analyze and develop sophisticated restructuring plans to preserve the value of bankruptcy estates and creditor claims. Represent clients in contested hearings, trials, and appeals before bankruptcy and district courts. Litigate and secure relief in bankruptcy adversary proceedings and related lawsuits in Texas state courts. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. At least 5 years of experience in bankruptcy law. Day-to-Day Draft and review legal documents, including restructuring plans, motions, and briefs. Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Engage in client meetings, negotiations, and strategy sessions to drive successful outcomes. 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
