Job TitleZierick Manufacturing is a leading source of solutions for complex interconnection requirements and problems.Job DescriptionThe incumbent will regularly perform the following tasks:Adhere to Tool Room schedule and report to the tool room supervisorRun Wire EDM Machines, including job and workpiece setupRun CNC machines, including job and workpiece setupLog work and hours performedMaintain EDM and CNC machines to ensure good working orderBasic machining (e.g. surface grinding, lathe work)Ability to read technical prints, including understanding of GD&TMetrologyMaintain and verify Tool Crib InventoryPlace purchase requisitions for the tool roomHeat treatment of tool steelsFollow safety regulations and requirementsBasic housekeepingSupport the tool roomLess frequently, the incumbent will perform other duties as required that may include:Calling vendors for support on machinesQualificationsRequired Qualifications• Machining• Metrology• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics• Wire EDM Machine Operation and Basic Maintenance• CNC Machine Operation and Basic Maintenance• Heat Treatment• Basic MathPreferred Skills• Microsoft Word and Excel• CAD/CAM• ERP• Experience with Agie Charmilles Cut20 and VP2 MachinesAdditional NotesZierick will provide training and training opportunities to the incumbent to fulfill the job description.Company ProfileOur Product and Service Since its inception in 1919 Zierick Manufacturing Corporation has been a valued supplier of standard and custom engineered stamped, metal products to end users in the electrical and electronic industries.
