The Atlanta workers' compensation practice is expanding and seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated defense litigation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values workers' compensation defense client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to NJ workers' compensation defense litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, settlement evaluations, and appeals documents with accuracy and efficiency
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and proceedings before Deputy Commissioners while providing strategic case evaluations to employers, insurers, and third-party administrators
• Manage an assigned caseload while collaborating with colleagues and support staff on case management and providing regular client updates, recommendations, and risk assessments

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active NJ license in good standing
• 2+ years of direct workers' compensation experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred
