Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring VA or compact license and prior critical care experience.
Details
- Neuro ICU setting with 18 beds
- Patient ratios of 1:2, flexible based on acuity
- 12-hour shifts on a day/night rotation, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- May float to the Neuro IMC unit
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (VA or compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing services to neuro ICU patients
- Every other holiday coverage required
- Floor orientation consists of 2 shifts, with additional shifts available if needed
- Scrub requirements: navy blue pants with solid navy blue or white tops, and solid navy blue or white jackets
