Float Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist – Patient Service Center Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in a Patient Service Center. The role requires exceptional customer service, skilled specimen collections, and a professional presence as the face of the company. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and clean driving record At least 21 years of age Reliable transportation Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or one year of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
