Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, warehouse exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, gates, and/or designated access points, verifying authorized access and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Support day‑to‑day operations by observing package‑flow areas, vehicle activity, and/or high‑traffic zones while following post orders and Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
