Overview Registered Nurse/ LPN (Full Time) — Department: Family Practice/ Internal Medicine — Location: 89 Interchange Drive, Richmond Hill, GA. Note: This description reflects nursing care in a primary care/clinic setting, including routine office procedures, testing, and assisting physicians as needed. Qualifications Experience in primary care Able to implement current nursing practice while performing direct and indirect patient care procedures Able to administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards Educate patient/family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness Able to conduct pre-visit patient assessments and document patient care observations and activities Maintain confidentiality in matters regarding the clinic, its patients and employees Responsibilities Observe, record and report patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physician Dispense medication as directed Prepares patient chart for the appointment Prepares patient for exam/procedure Manages boxes in EHR of outstanding tasks, alerts, or pending actions related to patient care timely and accurately Processes patient referrals with required follow through Education / Experience Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing. BSN preferred. Or graduate of a vocational school with LPN degree. Must have primary care experience preferably in a medical office setting. Requirements Current Georgia RN, LPN or Compact Nursing licensure. Current BLS/CPR Certification.
