Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Springfield, IL. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in home health settings regain or improve daily skills after injury, illness, or disability. This role offers the opportunity to deliver patient-centered care using clinical judgment in home environments while experiencing a new community.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience with Home Care Home Base EMR preferred. Productivity expectation: 30 visits per week for registered therapists. Orientation: 5 days. Experience: Home health experience preferred; candidates new to the setting will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications Previous home health clinical experience preferred. Familiarity with home health documentation and billing practices preferred.

Assignment Details Schedule: Monday through Friday. EMR: Home Care Home Base. Orientation period: 5 days. Productivity target: 30 visits per week for registered therapists.
