Spectra360 is sourcing qualified candidates for a Press Brake Operator position with our client based in Freehold, New Jersey. Our client is an established manufacturing company seeking an experienced professional to join its collaborative, team-oriented production environment.

The Press Brake Operator will set up and operate press brake machinery, interpret technical drawings, perform precision metal-forming operations, and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Friday: 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
• Early dismissal every Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Safely set up, load, unload, and operate press brake machines and related metal-fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform standard and complex metal-forming operations.
• Prepare complex machine setups, including custom punch modifications used with specialized tooling.
• Inspect completed parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform ongoing quality-control checks to verify that parts meet required tolerances and specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to identify equipment issues and prevent production defects.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and make appropriate machine adjustments.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to support equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain productivity while following all safety procedures, quality standards, and company guidelines.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least two years of manufacturing experience.
• At least one year of hands-on press brake operating experience.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specification sheets.
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Experience completing press brake setups and machine adjustments.
• Experience operating Trumpf press brakes or folding machines is strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Safety-focused approach to operating manufacturing equipment.
