Fabrication Assistant

Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands? Join the S.I. Goldman fabrication team and help build high-quality mechanical and plumbing components that support commercial construction projects. You'll work alongside experienced fabricators in a fast-paced shop environment where you'll learn valuable trade skills and operate a variety of fabrication equipment. What You’ll Do Assist with cutting, prepping, and fabricating pipe and steel materials Load and unload materials and trucks Prepare fittings, supports, and fabrication components Operate and assist with fabrication equipment and hand tools Support a safe, organized, and productive fabrication shop What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools Ability to read a tape measure (blueprint reading is a plus) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Forklift certification is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment Build your future with a company that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and professional growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr
