Benefits Day 1 Benefits Coverage with low-cost Medical, Vision, Dental Day 1 Paid-time Off and Vacation 4.5% Company Match 401(k) plan Annual Company-paid Lifestyle Benefit Competitive Compensation and Bonuses Company-paid Life and Disability Insurance Employee Stock Purchase Plan Training and Advancement Opportunities What You’ll Do Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, etc. Communicate and coordinate with crew members to sustain a quality finished product that meets or exceeds customer expectations and is within specifications Properly load finished product bundles onto a flatbed trailer Read and execute pick ticket loading instructions and recognize product distinctions Execute standard operating procedures when loading trucks and railcars Use scanner equipment to scan material into inventory and onto shipments Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture Work safely by following safety rules and wearing company PPE Understand start up, shutdown, and emergency procedures Perform daily housekeeping duties in the work area Troubleshoot work-related problems using job knowledge and teamwork What You’ll Need Minimum 1 year field experience in heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing preferred Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane required Must be able to work a 12-hour shift, including overtime, weekends and holidays Ability to stand for up to 12 hours; physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, or reaching to work with equipment Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs Team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills Dependability in attendance and work completion; flexibility to meet business needs Basic computer skills Strong communication skills; ability to read, speak, and understand English in verbal and written communication Your Education High School Diploma or GED preferred CMC is committed to providing equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, physical or mental disability, national origin, citizenship, military or veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, or other status protected by federal, state or local law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
