Precision CNC Production Machinist

Is this you?

• Do you excel at setting up, programming, and running CNC lathes in a high-volume environment?
• Can you read blueprints and work instructions, then translate them into accurate components, subassemblies, and final assemblies?
• Are you comfortable uploading/editing programs, creating setup sheets, deburring parts, sharpening tools, and configuring tooling?
• Do you maintain meticulous logs, capture data for Engineering, and troubleshoot equipment issues with confidence?
• Can you work with minimal supervision while taking direction from a Production Supervisor and collaborating with experienced peers?

Role details

• Location: Cortland, NY (on-site)
• Reports to: Production Supervisor
• Openings: 2nd Shift (Mon–Fri, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM) and 3rd Shift (Sun–Thu, 10:30 PM–6:30 AM)

What you’ll need to succeed

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 18+ months of relevant CNC machine operator experience
• Proficiency with CNC tooling and with setup/changeover on 2–4 axis CNC lathes
• Physical capability to stand/sit/bend/reach/squat/kneel/push/pull for at least 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs

Pay and benefits

• Hourly rate: $34.39–$35.43 (subject to change)
• Benefits for eligible employees: paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, and a 401(k)
