Job Title: Manufacturing Technical Specialist I Employment Type: W2 Contract – 12 Months with Possibility for Extensions Pay Rate: $29.00–$33.80/hour (determined by experience, paid weekly) Shift Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Work Model: Fully Onsite Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C and Corp-to-Corp candidates will not be considered. Role Overview BEPC is actively seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technical Specialist I to join our customer's team in South San Francisco, California . This role supports end-to-end product flow across hazardous materials, research and development (R&D) materials, clinical drug products, and inventory management operations. The successful candidate will ensure the compliant, accurate, and timely execution of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and documentation activities while adhering to company procedures and regulatory requirements. This is a fully onsite position due to the hands‑on nature of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Logistics Process hazardous materials, R&D materials, and product sample shipments. Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including preparation of shipping documentation and proper packaging. Pick, pack, and ship clinical finished drug products to domestic and international destinations. Receive and dispense finished goods, work‑in‑process (WIP) inventory, and packaging components. Process rejected, returned, or expired drug products for proper destruction. Coordinate product destruction activities with approved destruction facilities. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory records for drug products and warehouse materials. Perform routine inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies. Utilize RF scanners and inventory management systems to process inventory transactions. Ensure accurate data entry and documentation within internal systems and databases. Compliance & Operations Follow applicable SOPs, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain warehouse equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition. Safely operate warehouse material‑handling equipment. Maintain documentation according to corporate record retention policies. Recommend updates and improvements to existing SOPs when appropriate. Assist with onboarding and training new team members. Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, or a related field. Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control processes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to work occasional overtime as business needs require. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to meet TSA background requirements and complete the Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP). Preferred Qualifications IATA certification. Experience preparing international shipping documentation. Experience handling hazardous materials shipments. Experience operating warehouse material‑handling equipment. Experience using warehouse management systems, RF scanners, or inventory databases.
