Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, access points, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions needing attention.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required by site procedures, and help support authorized access at the location.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters observed during patrols and post duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
