About the Position

Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Technologist Specialty: General Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of OR experience required. License: Must hold a current DORA Registration. Certifications: NBSTSA/NCCT certification and BLS required. Must-Have: - Minimum of 24 months of Certified Surgical Tech experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months. - Life support certifications must be from an approved vendor. - No hits on the state license to practice. - Driver's license to verify residency required. Description: Client-issued scrubs will be provided. Shifts available are Monday to Friday. Call is required, and there will be rotating days off. Candidates must clearly outline all criteria they are willing to accept. The more flexible candidates are with locations, shifts, and departments, the faster an offer can be secured. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. Requests for time off must be included on the cover page and cannot exceed seven days. No requests for time off are allowed during the first week of the assignment. Please list all facilities candidates are willing to work in, and specify facility names or states. All candidates submitted should be pre-closed and ready to accept the offer. If a candidate withdraws or is no longer available, it must be reported immediately. Compliance with background check standards is mandatory. A complete cover page detailing required information is necessary. A resume that lists all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds must be included. A skills checklist for Certified Surgical Tech must be completed in the last 12 months. An active license to practice must be verified within the last 30 days. Active NBSTSA/NCCT certification and active BLS certification from an approved vendor are required. A driver's license must be documented. On-call requirements and weekend scheduling will be determined by the facility.
