Robot Service Technician – Fix Robots. Actually.

Not a metaphor. Not a stretch. You will literally be building, maintaining, and repairing self-driving delivery robots — and that's just a regular Tuesday.

***Schedule: This is the pm shift. After several weeks of training, this role will have a schedule of:

3:00 pm - 11:30 M-F

If you've got a background in automotive or manufacturing, love getting your hands on something and making it work, and you're the kind of person who gets a little too excited about how things are put together — we want to talk.

This is a full-time role with real room to grow as our client expands to new locations. Get in early, and you grow with it.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Build the Bots

• Assemble harnesses, cables, and connectors for autonomous delivery robots
• Install, replace, and calibrate sensors — LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonics — the cool stuff

️ Keep the Fleet Alive

• Run routine maintenance and repairs across the robot fleet
• Diagnose breakdowns, dig into incidents, and execute service campaigns
• Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components — suspensions, batteries, you name it

Get Out in the Field

• Travel between local sites to provide hands-on support wherever it's needed
• Handle rapid prototyping, testing, and inventory management on the go

Help Invent What's Next

• Assist the R&D team with experiments and contribute to new projects as the company scales
• Your ideas and observations from the field actually matter here

What You Bring

The technical stuff

• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical tools and measuring equipment
• Comfortable assembling, disassembling, and installing custom electronic modules
• Solid working knowledge of AC/DC currents
• Able to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings
• Soldering skills? You just moved to the top of the list

The physical stuff

• Able to lift 50+ lbs — this is real, hands-on work
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR for the past 12 months (no CDL needed)
• Comfortable in field environments, not just a shop

The people stuff

• Detail-oriented and logical — you troubleshoot like a puzzle, not a panic
• Great communicator who plays well with a team
• Adaptable and creative — when something unexpected happens, you figure it out

Bonus points

• Background in automotive plants, dealership service, or manufacturing environments
• Strong computer literacy — you'll be logging, tracking, and collaborating digitally
