As a member of this team, you will contribute to the development of industry-leading memory solutions that support the evolving needs of AI-enabled computing. As an HBM Design Engineer Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support the design verification and validation of advanced HBM products. This internship provides hands-on experience with industry-standard verification methodologies, simulation environments, debugging techniques, and semiconductor development processes. You will contribute to real product development efforts while building foundational skills in digital design, verification, and AI-supported computing technologies. Responsibilities Support verification of HBM designs by developing and executing simulation test plans to validate functionality, performance, and timing requirements. Analyze design specifications and assist in creating verification strategies using industry-standard design and verification methodologies. Debug design and verification issues in collaboration with design, verification, validation, and product engineering teams. Develop, enhance, and maintain verification environments using hardware description languages and verification tools. Collaborate with global engineering teams developing memory solutions that enable Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, and advanced computing applications, and leverage AI-assisted tools where appropriate to improve engineering productivity and workflow efficiency. Minimum Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, and must remain enrolled throughout the internship period. Demonstrated knowledge of transistor-level circuits, CMOS fundamentals, and digital logic design principles through coursework, projects, or research. Experience using Verilog, SystemVerilog, or other hardware description languages through academic projects, research, or industry experience. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. Demonstrated communication, teamwork, and leadership skills through academic, project, research, or extracurricular experiences. Preferred Qualifications Coursework or project experience in semiconductor design verification, digital integrated circuit design, computer architecture, or memory systems. Experience with simulation, debugging, waveform analysis, or industry-standard verification methodologies and tools. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl to support automation and verification workflows. Exposure to AI-enabled, AI-assisted, or Artificial Intelligence applications through coursework, research, or technical projects. Experience working in collaborative team environments and delivering technical results through complex engineering projects.
