GSE is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and their Comptroller office and Installation Operations office to help enable NGA to produce accurate, timely, relevant, and complete financial information for NGA’s stakeholders and customers. 

 

This position requires an ACTIVE TOP SECRET security clearance.

 

A day in the life (a general sampling of the things you may do in a given day):  

 

• Support daily accounting and finance responsibilities at our clients, especially core accounting functions like AR, AP, and month-end close (MEC)
• Analyzing, developing, and working with client teams to implement financial and operational infrastructure for clients 
• Support the execution of project work deliverables, including qualitative and quantitative tasks and analytics to accelerate revenue growth and profitability
• Helping to create monthly reporting packages, cash flow forecasts, and documentation of key processes and controls 
• Maintaining strong attention to detail to ensure a consistent work product

 

What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):  

 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management-related field
• Active Top Secret clearance
• At least four (4) years of accounting, financial policy, or financial management experience
• At least two (2) years of federal financial management experience in roles such as accountant, financial auditor, financial analyst, or financial system analyst
