Key Qualifications:
- Valid New York SLP License
- TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver five, 30-minute speech therapy sessions each week to one elementary student
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address specific speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in remote panel interviews and complete required onboarding processes, including district-specific requirements
This contract offers a flexible commitment of approximately 5 hours per week, running from ASAP through June 2027—a perfect fit for someone seeking to make a focused impact or supplement existing caseloads.
