Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantTap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join WelbeHealth in Stockton, California. In this role, you will work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve participants' functional abilities, independence, and overall quality of life.As a member of an interdisciplinary care team, you will provide therapeutic interventions and support for older adults with complex medical and functional needs. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $74,000 to $98,000 annually based on experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a senior-focused healthcare environment.Required QualificationsAssociate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.Degrees earned outside the United States must be evaluated and determined equivalent to a U.S. Occupational Therapy Assistant degree.Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License or proof of eligibility for licensure.Minimum of two years of Occupational Therapy Assistant experience working with frail, elderly, or medically complex populations.Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally as needed.Knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide therapy services to frail older adults with complex healthcare needs.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in PACE programs, geriatric care, rehabilitation, home health, skilled nursing, or outpatient therapy settings.Strong patient education and communication skills.Experience collaborating within an interdisciplinary care team model.Knowledge of adaptive equipment, functional mobility training, and activities of daily living (ADL) interventions.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a patient-centered Occupational Therapy Assistant who is passionate about helping older adults maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
