Job Description
Join a 13-week travel assignment in Edmonds, Washington, supporting adult and geriatric patients in a progressive care setting that blends telemetry and intermediate care. You will care for patients with respiratory failure, cardiac and renal conditions, GI concerns, and CIWA needs while managing complex therapies and monitoring changes throughout 12-hour night shifts. The assignment may include floating to IMCU, telemetry, CDU, or related areas, so experience at the IMU level is essential. First-time travelers are welcome, and a little night-shift experience will go a long way.
Responsibilities may include pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care, BiPAP and CPAP support, breathing treatments, cardioversion and defibrillation, 12-lead EKGs, drains, feeding tubes, PCA and epidural pumps, central-line and vascular-device care, wound vacs, and administration of cardiac, antiarrhythmic, antiseizure, and other medications. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
