Counselor/Case Manager

Behavioral Health Network, recognized as the 10th Top Places to work in MA by the Boston Globe, is looking for a Counselor/Case Manager to join our new behavioral health clinic in Hyde Park, MA.

You will be working with women in recovery from addiction who are living with us with their children. This is a very special program and would be a great fit for someone with strong empathy and compassion for those in recovery.

What you will be doing:

• Perform admission and intake screenings.
• Assist in developing treatment plans.
• Meet with clients weekly to ensure goals are being met and determine areas in need of additional resources and attention.
• Assess the outcome of treatment planning, adjusting treatment approaches accordingly, and documenting according to established expectations.
• Educating individuals & groups regarding alcohol and drug abuse, harm reduction, mental illness and available community and self-help resources.
• Assist in coordinating referrals for ongoing aftercare treatment with agencies and services and facilitating individual's responsibility and participation in aftercare planning.

Shifts for this position are:

• Friday and Saturday, 12pm-8:30pm
• Sunday and Monday, 8am-4:30pm
• This is a 32 hour a week position and is considered full time at BHN.
• OR
• Sunday - Thursday, 10am-6pm
• Pay: $25.00 per hour

What you will bring:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required); Associate's Degree or higher in related field (preferred).
• At least one year of experience in substance abuse or behavioral health counseling (required).
• Familiarity with Internet, word processing and email systems (required).
• Ability to complete accurate and detailed documentation
