Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist I

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority
As a CT Technologist I, you operate CT scanners and related equipment to perform diagnostic imaging exams in a hospital setting. You review orders, verify patient identity, obtain medical histories, and explain procedures. You position patients, administer IV contrast under protocol, and assess image quality, consulting radiologists as needed. The role includes basic patient care, supporting emergency situations, following radiation safety and infection control standards, and maintaining accurate electronic records and a clean, stocked work area.
