Recruiter - Manufacturing & Industrial Staffing

Oxford Solutions is working with a manufacturing client in the Youngstown, OH area seeking an experienced Recruiter for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This hybrid role is ideal for a recruiting professional with a strong background supporting manufacturing, heavy industrial, or steel production environments.

We are looking for someone who understands the pace and challenges of industrial recruiting and can successfully manage both high-volume hourly hiring and specialized technical searches. The ideal candidate will be comfortable partnering with hiring managers, sourcing skilled trades and engineering talent, and driving the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through offer stage.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and industrial positions
• Recruit for a variety of roles including Millwrights, Electronic Technicians (ETs), General Laborers, Engineers, Plant Supervisors, and other operations positions
• Source, screen, interview, and coordinate candidates throughout the hiring process
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
• Build pipelines of skilled manufacturing and technical talent
• Support both high-volume hourly recruiting efforts and specialized exempt-level searches
• Maintain recruiting activity and candidate information within applicant tracking systems
• Coordinate interviews, offer processes, and onboarding activities
• Develop recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates in competitive labor markets

Qualifications:

• Previous recruiting experience within manufacturing, heavy industrial, steel production, or similar environments required
• Proven experience recruiting for both hourly production roles and technical/professional positions
• Strong understanding of industrial and manufacturing job functions
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting hiring priorities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience using ATS and recruiting platforms such as Indeed or LinkedIn Recruiter preferred
