We're Hiring Production Operators | Northampton, MA
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour | Monday to Friday (08:00-17:30) | Weekly Pay
Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Production Floaters/operators to support manufacturing operations from raw material processing through final quality control. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a hands-on production environment and can adapt to multiple responsibilities while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee production from raw materials through final quality inspection
- Operate and monitor mixing, extrusion, drying, cutting, and firing processes
- Track and manage raw materials and production consumables
- Troubleshoot production and quality issues alongside engineering and management teams
- Operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the facility
- Pack finished goods and prepare orders for shipment
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Comfortable working at elevated heights on ladders and platforms when needed
- Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials safely
