What You ll Do:

• Function as a trauma hospitalist rounding on adult and adolescent patients
• Respond to trauma alerts from the ED and facilitate patient management
• Perform procedures such as chest tube insertions, central and arterial line placement, suturing minor lacerations, and ventilator management
• Conduct daily patient assessments and discharges
• Collaborate closely with trauma surgeons and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide comprehensive care within a Level I trauma designation facility

What You Need:

• Valid license to practice as NP or PA in Minnesota
• 2+ years of trauma, emergency, or critical care experience
• Proficient in trauma procedures listed above
• Ability to work autonomously with a supervising trauma surgeon present 24/7
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Epic
• Strong clinical judgment and team collaboration skills

About the Assignment:
You will be working at a premier Level I adult trauma facility that also cares for pediatric patients. The unit is staffed with trauma surgeons around the clock, providing support and oversight. This role requires full clinical independence, handling all aspects of patient care from initial assessment to discharge. You will be integral to delivering high-quality trauma and emergency care in a fast-paced environment.
