About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Corporate Tax to lead and oversee the development and execution of the corporate tax strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for federal and multi-state income tax, ASC 740 provisions, and M&A due diligence. This role involves mentoring and developing a small team, driving innovation in the tax function, and collaborating with various internal departments. A hands-on approach to leadership is essential, as is the ability to present and work closely with executive leadership. Candidates for the VP of Corporate Tax position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' progressive tax experience, including a background in a Big 4 firm and a publicly traded company. Deep expertise in federal and multi-state tax compliance and provision, as well as proven experience in transactional tax work, is required. The role demands strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to influence at the executive level. While not mandatory, experience with international tax, particularly Canadian operations, and hands-on involvement in tax technology implementation are considered advantageous.
