Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Texas

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period required; no call required

Highlights:

• Level III maternal designation and Level II neonatal unit, both advancing to higher designations
• 17-bed Labor and Delivery unit with 12 LDR beds, 5 Antepartum beds, 4 OBED, and 3 OR rooms
• High-risk obstetrics including massive transfusion protocols, PASD management, and complex deliveries
• Self-scheduling model with collaborative team-based approach
• EMR systems: CPN and Meditech
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2 based on acuity

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas
• Minimum 3 years of experience in high-risk obstetrics
• Current AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced EFM certification required
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and CPI certifications required
• Experience with complex procedures including scheduled and emergent cesarean sections, cesarean hysterectomy, twin deliveries (both cesarean and vaginal), and dilation and evacuation
• Preferred: Experience with massive transfusion protocols and placenta accreta spectrum disorders
