Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ER RN for a 8-week travel assignment at a community hospital in Holyoke, MA. This role involves providing care in a high-acuity, fast-paced ED serving patients of all ages, including a locked behavioral health unit.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver high-quality emergency care to patients across all age groups.
• Assess, prioritize, and document patient conditions in a busy ED environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain certifications and adherence to hospital protocols, including ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS.
• Support behavioral health unit operations, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications:

• Active MA RN license or eligibility for emergency MA license.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an Emergency Department.
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS certifications.
• At least one prior travel assignment completed; first-time travelers considered with proper documentation.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
