Assistant ManagerRandolph - Randolph, MA 02368OverviewSalary Range $22.00 - $25.00 Hourly Position Type Full TimeDescriptionRequirements:Ability to support many functions, including filling in for the store manager during absencesCollaborate with Store Manager on the daily operations of the store and in the training, coaching, and managing of employeesAssist with scheduling employees, completing time-clock reporting, and assigning workInteract with customers, recommend products and scheduled serviceProcess paperwork and utilize company computer systems to help maintain proper billing and inventoryAct as a shop foreman and as a service writerAnswer phones, assist customers, and perform tire changesProvide hands-on support to front deskCash out customers and support and conduct tire deliveriesLanguage skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsPossess basic mathematical skillsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram formComputer skills: Basic computer skills; training will be provided as neededCommunication skills: Must be good at communicating with customers, employees and vendors in person, on the phone and via electronic tools such as e-mail and text messagingPerform duties of tire technician when neededPhysical Demands: Exerts 75 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Frequently reaches (extending hands and arms in any direction), handles (seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or working with hands), and identifies and distinguishes colors. Occasionally climbs (ascends or descends ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like), balances.
