Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking full-time (30 hours per week) Fitness Floor Attendants to join the team at one of the premier fitness facilities in Bentonville, Arkansas . In this role, you'll help create a welcoming member experience while demonstrating and instructing proper use of fitness equipment.

Various shift times are open at the moment, possible schedules below:

• Morning shift workers: (5:00 AM-11:00 AM on weekdays, and 7:00 AM-1:00 PM on weekends).

• Mid-day shift workers: (11:00 AM-5:00 PM on weekdays).

• Closing Shift: (from 4:00 PM to 10:00 on weekdays, 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM on weekends).

Currently seeking weekend shift coverage as a top need, but some weekday shifts are also needing coverage.

Responsible for providing exercise floor supervision and interacting with members and program participants within the fitness center.

Key Accountabilities

• Interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.

• Welcomes members by greeting, answering questions, responding to requests while at front desk and input data into membership system.

• Performs facility maintenance responsibilities; ensures facility, equipment and locker rooms are clean and always stocked.

• Understand and execute the Emergency Medical Procedures throughout the facility.

• Demonstrate and instruct on the proper use of exercise equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Adult CPR/AED & First Aid certifications from the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or the American Safety & Health Institute will be required prior to start date.

• Prior fitness and customer service experience strongly preferred.

• Computer application knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) strongly preferred.

• Physical demands require having the ability to lift up to 40 lb. weights for restacking.

• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.

• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity.

The compensation range for this role is $16.50 - $17.50 per hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
