This role reports to the Engineering Director and can be located at any W.R. Grace site. This role is a critical Instrument & Electrical (I&E) SME position supporting capital projects and plant operations. The position ensures continuity of technical leadership, governance of electrical engineering deliverables, and support of reliability and maintenance programs across Grace sites.ResponsibilitiesReview and approve electrical engineering documents across all project phasesLead electrical scope definition, planning, and vendor selectionServe as SME in design reviews, MOCs, PHA, and LOPASupport commissioning and startup activitiesProvide technical leadership to ensure continuity of ongoing projectsSupport reliability and maintenance COE initiativesEnsure compliance with corporate engineering standards and policiesImmediate Impact Expectations (First 90 Days):Assume ownership of active project scopesEnsure continuity in design review and contractor oversightMaintain SME support for plant reliability initiativesStabilize engineering standards and compliance executionMust be able to travel up to 25%Physical Requirements and EnvironmentAbility to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft. Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator Required QualificationsB.S. in Electrical Engineering10+ years of experience in capital project or operations or maintenance execusion Knowledge of PSM and electrical standardsAbility to develop standards and processesPreferred QualificationsMS or PE license preferredExperience with SAP and project management toolsExperience in chemical manufacturing industryStrong leadership and communication skillsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesChange management experienceTo be considered for this position, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
