These programs are pushing our team beyond current capacity, and we need two experienced Mechanical Design Engineers with strong PTC Creo skills to step in and own real design work from day one.This is a high-ownership role for someone who's already built a solid track record in mechanical design and wants to apply it to devices that matter — including robotic surgery technology. You'll work with real autonomy, partner directly with customers, and mentor less experienced engineers on the team, all while contributing to some of the most technically interesting programs in our portfolio.What You'll DoDesign & CADOwn mechanical CAD design work from concept through releaseLead Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) sessionsMaintain and oversee engineering documentation and recordsData & DocumentationManage design data in the ERP system to ensure accuracyInterpret and apply specifications and regulatory information independently, and guide less experienced engineers in doing the sameCollaboration & CommunicationServe as a key point of contact with internal and external teams on design projectsRepresent MPE in customer and supplier meetings, speaking directly to design decisions and tradeoffsPrototyping & Transfer to ManufacturingLead in-house prototype assembly and testingDrive new product transfer to manufacturing, including initial builds and documentationGeneralManage work across established and variable timelinesFollow all safety and work rules and regulationsMaintain departmental housekeeping standardsWhat You BringRequiredBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineeringStrong proficiency in PTC CreoStrong computer, math, and oral/written communication skills, with strong attention to detailAbility to create and read complex engineering drawingsSolid understanding of tolerance stack-up analysisNice to HaveExperience with sheet metal design and advanced GD&TMedical device design experienceExperience mentoring junior engineersWhy Work With MPE?Medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance starting the first of the month after your hire date401(k) match and profit sharingVacation time from day one9 paid holidays for regular full-time employeesPaid training
