What You'll Do
As a Ford Truck Mechanic at Kerr Contractors, you will perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Job Duties and Responsibilitie s
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot:
- Half ton to medium duty (750s)
- Diesel and gas engines
- Brake systems
- Drive systems - Transmissions, Differentials and Suspensions
- Hydraulic systems
- Electrical systems
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid license and clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random screenings
- Must consent to background screening
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team player
- Must have reliable transportation
- At least 4-5 years background working in IDS diagnostic
