Make an impact as an Occupational Therapist supporting students throughout a district near Oceanside, CA during the upcoming academic year! This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work collaboratively with passionate educators and a supportive COTA, serving approximately 50 students across various schools. You'll play a vital role in helping students grow, participate fully, and unlock their greatest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and therapy documentation
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to work district-wide
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
You Will:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Evaluate student skills and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and COTA to support student goals
- Monitor progress and update records/documentation accurately
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and offer expert recommendations
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment where all students can thrive
