Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

SHR Talent is partnering with a client in Nashville, TN in its search for a FP&A Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization in the healthcare industry and play a key role in driving financial strategy, forecasting, and performance insights across multiple locations. The FP&A Manager will lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes while collaborating with leadership to enhance operational decision-making. This individual will leverage data-driven analysis and business acumen to support growth initiatives, improve profitability, and optimize resource allocation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and thrives in a dynamic, multi-site healthcare environment. Responsibilities Lead the company’s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling. Partner with department and regional leaders to provide insights on financial performance, variance analysis, and key business drivers. Develop and enhance financial reporting and dashboards to improve visibility into performance across multiple healthcare sites. Utilize Adaptive Insights (or a similar financial planning system) to streamline reporting and improve accuracy of financial data. Support strategic decision-making through scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and return-on-investment evaluations. Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior leadership, highlighting opportunities for growth and cost optimization. Collab​orate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate monthly close and performance tracking. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and analytics to support business scalability. Contribute to the development of standardized tools and templates for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across locations. Support contract-based business initiatives by building financial models and reporting frameworks tailored to contractual obligations and revenue streams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred. 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) within the healthcare industry, preferably in a multi-site environment. Hands‑on experience with Adaptive Insights or a similar financial planning and reporting system (such as Anaplan, Hyperion, or Workday Adaptive Planning). Strong understanding of contract‑based business models and experience building out financial planning and reporting processes to support them. Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to leadership. Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong data modeling and analytical skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
