QA Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a QA Analyst - Hybrid for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.


We are seeking a senior-level QA Analyst to support a Cyber Data Operations team. This candidate will be involved in QA testing efforts to design and execute test cases for a data warehouse and data dashboards. This role supports the delivery of reliable systems by identifying, reporting, and tracking defects and verifying that requirements are met.



Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
• Perform manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance phases
• Document defects clearly and collaborate with developers to resolve issues
• Ensure traceability of requirements and maintain test documentation
• Participate in agile scrum calls with the data warehouse team and provide feedback on system usability and stability
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools
• Identify, evaluate, and manage the documentation and deliverables required for each project testing and automation

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or business systems analysis
• Financial services and banking background preferred
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of and experience in the use of Test management tools, i.e., JIRA
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile or Scrum frameworks
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Must be able to scrub and analyze data
• Strong experience writing SQL queries, familiarity with joins, CTEs, looking for data outliers, etc

Desired skills:

• Experience in the use of Confluence

Pay rate up to $63.55 hourly.
