Communications Coordinator

AGC of Missouri is seeking a talented, creative, and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our team. The Communications Coordinator manages communications that support the mission and brand of the Associated General Contractors of Missouri (AGCMO). This position works closely with AGCMO leadership, staff, consultants, members, and other stakeholders to tell our story and strengthen engagement with Missouri’s construction industry. What You’ll Do The Communications Coordinator will have a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, including: Develop, write, edit, and distribute internal and external communications. Manage AGCMO’s social media presence, including content strategy, scheduling, posting, engagement, and performance analysis. Maintain and update website content and coordinate email campaigns, bulletins, and member communications. Assist with press releases, public statements, and communications surrounding major AGCMO initiatives. Create promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, advertisements, signage, and other marketing pieces. Maintain consistency of the AGCMO brand across communications and marketing materials. Develop promotional strategies for AGCMO events, programs, awards, and other initiatives. Work collaboratively with AGCMO staff and outside partners to increase awareness, engagement, event attendance, and member participation. Bring new ideas and approaches to continually improve AGCMO communications. Update website and social media content, assist with event communications, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and timely information sharing with members and stakeholders. Qualifications Strong written communication skills, including Writing and general Communication abilities. Knowledge of planning and executing communication initiatives. Proficiency in digital communication tools, such as email platforms, websites, and social media. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner. Experience in association, nonprofit, or construction industry communications is a plus. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines and interacting professionally with AGCMO members, media representatives, industry organizations, public officials, and other stakeholders. AGC of Missouri is a statewide construction industry association with full-time staff and offices in Jefferson City, Springfield, and St. Louis. The organization represents approximately 525 member firms across 110 Missouri counties, including contractors and affiliate companies in support industries.
