Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Facility: Southeast Health (Forbes Best-In-State Employer, 4 years running) Unit: 42-bed Cardio/Neurovascular Med-Surg/Telemetry Shift: 36 or 48 hrs/week (block scheduling available; EOW required) Contract Length: 13 weeks (ends on Tuesday) Patient Ratio: 1:6 (high acuity) Experience Required: 1-2 years (must be strong with high-acuity patients) Dysrhythmias experience required Cardiac drips required (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Licensure: Active AL or compact license (no pending; must be in good standing) Additional Info: EMR: Epic Compliance due 1 week prior to start Flu & COVID vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Scrubs: All navy or navy bottoms/white top Policies: RTO: 3-5 days preferred; 7 days max per 13 weeks Local radius: 90 miles (no locals) Former perm staff ineligible for 10 years
