Senior Engineer Software Quality Assurance & Contractor Engineer (QA Automation)
Our Services Innovation Engineering team is all about helping our clients achieve better security through the adoption of security best practices leveraging the Palo Alto Networks platform with a prevention orientation. We are revolutionizing how quickly customers can maximize the value of their security investment, by incorporating an automation mindset, coupled with a methodology focus to help overcome barriers which may be in the way of improving security posture. The Services Innovation Engineering team is responsible for the innovation around the development of tools to help our customers better understand and measure their current prevention posture and alignment to best practices. The Services Innovation Engineering team is seeking a highly talented individual to help us develop scalable telemetry solutions to send and receive critical diagnostic information, as well as help our customers better understand their devices' capacity.
This initiative is a company priority with executive backing, so you would have the opportunity to make an outsize impact on both our product and our customers.
Your impact:
- Develop, execute and automate test plans and test cases
- Develop tools and infrastructure to improve quality and efficiency of testing
- Work closely with the Software Engineering, Product Management teams during product development from design to release
- Reproduce and debug issues found during and after software release
- Develop and maintain complex test bed environment
- Extensive test automation and scripting skills (preferably Cypress, javascript, python, Rest APIs)
- Experience with virtualization environments
Your career:
- As a SQA Engineer for feature testing, you will be responsible for testing the upcoming new products or features on SIET applications.
- You will participate in the requirements and design discussions and make a difference in shaping the future direction.
- The work will involve close interaction with development and product management teams.
- You will write, execute and automate test plans based on requirements and design specs.
- The primary focus on your position will be to automate regression tests as well as new features using Cypress / pytest.
