It all begins with you.Wells Fargo is seeking a Secured Lending Underwriter within our Commercial Banking team.Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Participate in the partnership with the Underwriting team on all aspects of new business transaction processPerform financial analysis, calculate financial covenants, and prepare financing memorandum within Secured Lending UnderwritingReview basic issues, policies, or procedures where answers can quickly be obtained related to low to medium risk and deliverablesReceive direction from Secured Lending Underwriting supervisor and exercise independent judgement while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsRequired Qualifications:2+ years of Secured Lending Underwriting experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Inventory Finance experienceCommercial Banking Underwriting experience2+ years of secured lending experienceB.A. degree or equivalent, in Accounting, Business, Finance or EconomicsExperience in Finance or Asset-Based lendingAccounting and finance knowledgeProficient in MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, and WordJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position offers a hybrid work schedule Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
