Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist - Inpatient

Korzen Health has been retained by one of the areas fastest-growing nonprofit behavioral health hospital systems to recruit a Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist to join an established and collaborative multidisciplinary team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychiatrist interested in combining clinical excellence with academic teaching research and professional development. The position offers a 100% inpatient practice focused on adult and geriatric patients working alongside an experienced team of six full-time Consult-Liaison Psychiatrists and four Advanced Practice Providers.

With a predictable weekday schedule manageable patient volumes and access to a strong academic environment this role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality psychiatric care while participating in physician education and advancing the field of Consult-Liaison Psychiatry.

Position Highlights

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Fellowship training in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry or equivalent qualifications appropriate for the position.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the applicable state.
• Strong clinical skills and an interest in inpatient psychiatric consultation for adult and geriatric patients.
• Interest in academic teaching research and multidisciplinary collaboration.
