Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and packaging industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator / Stacker- 2nd Shift- 11am-7pm to join their team. As a Machine Operator / Stacker- 2nd Shift- 11am-7pm, you will be an integral part of the production team supporting quality assurance and efficient packaging operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator / Stacker- 2nd Shift- 11am-7pm

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $20.5

Shift: Monday-Friday, 11am-7pm (plus additional hours until production is complete)

What's the Job?

• Operate and support packaging lines for dry mix, pouches, pails, and cans with a focus on safety and quality.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment and packaging areas, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.
• Accurately scan packaging materials and finished goods into the BatchMaster system, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
• Set up and configure equipment based on production schedules, ensuring correct packaging materials are loaded and codes are programmed accurately.
• Maintain detailed line logs and documentation, monitor package weights, and ensure metal detector protocols are followed to guarantee product safety.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to complete production.
